1st FTK Evangelism Conference: Successful!

May 8, 2012 – 3:08 pm

Blessings Everyone! It seems that every week the Lord is opening doors for us to share the gospel in the US or in Mexico. This last week we had the first FTK Evangelism Conference and boy was it successful. Not only did we train believers but also went to the beach to take those who had been trained in sharing the gospel. The most important result for us is that God’s name be glorified by the proclamation of the gospel! At FTK we say that if no one comes to Jesus but we proclaimed the gosple faithfully, that alone is a win for the Kingdom of God.

Here are the results

15 Believers equipped to share the gospel

97 times we presented the gospel

31 new decisions of faith:

23 Adults

9 Children

11 Adult recommitments

1 child recommitt

The rest rejected the gift of eternal life but the seed was sown in their hearts therefore our hopes are high that they will come to the knowledge of the Savior. One of those rejections came from a budhist. Your prayers are appreciated. Rejoice with us as well!!!

Cool Story:

The last picture is with three ladies. One of them is already a strong believer who fellowships with the Eben Ezer Church that meets at New Song on sunday afternoons. The other two was a mother and daughter. The daughter already knew the Lord but the mother was visiting from Mexico. When we started, we only had the two believers. The mom was not involved because we were speaking English only. When the daughter knew that we were Christians sharing the gospel, she asked me if I was willing to share the gospel with her mom in Spanish. What do you think I said? I speak a little bit of Spanish therefore proceeded to explain the gospel to her and 10 minutes later she was giving her heart to Jesus. I found later that Jehova’s Witnesss have been coming to her house in Mexico but she has not been welcoming them lately. I also learned that She never lets Christians come even close to her to share the gospel. Don’t ask me why but when I was sharing the gospel with her she seemed the most open person to hear the gospel from a Christian. I tell you, there are sometimes when people are just ready to receive the Lord. It’s as though after so many seeds being sown throughout the life of that person, God just has them ready for us to bring them into the kingdom. she said she didn’t have a Bible but a yellow book the JW’s had given her. I asked her if she was willing for me to send her a Bible all the way to Mexico. she said YES. I asked her also if she was willing to go to church when she got back to Mexico, she said yes too. Please pray for the seed sown in her heart!

Thank you so much for helping us make this happen through your prayers and financial suport!

Tomorrow, we are starting another training at New Song Community Church, please pray for God to bring workers to be trained for the harvest that is plentiful!

Valle de Mexicali April 2012 Mission Trip

May 1, 2012 – 5:04 am

Blessings Everyone! Thank you so much for your prayers for us while we were in Mexico this last weekend sharing the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!! We had an amazing mission trip again and we give all the Glory to God. I tell the team all the time that the reason we have so much success when we go to the streets is because people are praying for us. God delights in answering your prayers for the salvatioin of many souls!

Here are the totals and below is one amazing story of the Lord’s doing:

119 total presentations of the gospel

71 New believers in the Lord Jesus Christ

15 Were believers already

16 New Children Decisions of Faith

10 Decided to not put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We also had a lot of children repeat the prayer at the Saturday service when Remi presented the gospel but a lot of those children come to church already. The Lord knows if some of them did it for the first time. one thing is for sure, all of them were listening!!! Great Job Remi!

Please pray for all of them. Although 71 of them prayed the prayer to receive the Lord, none of us know who really meant it or not, only the Lord knows. What we do know and rejoice in is that we sowed the seed of God’s word in someone’s heart and according to the Bible, that word will not return void but will accomplished for the purpose for which it was sent. In the parable of the sower and the seed in the gospels (Matthew13, Mark 4 and Luke 8) the Lord said that only 25% of the seed bored fruit. Please prayed that the seed that we sown last weekend will bear the fruit that brings salvation in the soul of a person!

Wonderful Story:

On Friday afternoon, we went to share the gospel next to a canal by the main road from Los Algodones to Mexicali. First Remi was able to help a lady recommit her life to Christ. her name is Maria de Jesus (Chuyita). When Remi asked her if she needed her to be praying for something specific in her life, Chuyita asked to please pray for her husband who was trying to stop drugs. Remi fervently prayed for her. When we got to the next house, we started talking with two men who were trying to cook something to eat. While we were sharing the gospel, Chuyita walked in the house. We knew then that one of them was her husband (Gabriel). I continued to share the gospel with the two men. They both received the Lord Jesus but let me tell you the most amazing part. While I presenting the green color, which represent new life, I started telling them about the new life Jesus Christ gives and how only Jesus can give us new life. All the other stuff will only make us feel like we have life but they will pass; Jesus stays with us forever giving us abundant life! I then asked them if there was anything I could pray for them in regards to living the new life in Christ. I told them that with prayer we can overcome a lot of the bad habits we have from living in this world. I also told them a lot of other things but the main point is that we can live for Christ now that he lives in us. Gabriel (Chuyita’s Husband) proceded to tell me that he was trying to stop doing drugs and that just at the moment we arrived he was being tempted by the other men to go and buy drugs. Gabriel didn’t have any money but Jose did and was willing to pay for both of their drugs. He then told me that God knew exactly what was going on and therefore had sent us to not only tell him about Jesus but also provide of way of escape from doing drugs. There is more, On Saturday evening for the children’s program he was there at the church helping with anything the church needed. not only that but also on Sunday morning he came back to hear the word!!! Is God good or what? on the way back to the border pastor Jose told me that he and Gabriel were going to go on monday, today, to find a rehab center so that he can be there for 30 days and be discipled in the ways of the Lord!!!! can you say Gloria a Dios with me? Gloria a Dios!!!

Thank you so much for praying for our ministry and also supporting us with your finances, your finances allow us to go while your prayers allow us to do in the power of the Holy Spirit and see God at work!!!

Mexicali Mission Trip: Successful

February 1, 2012 – 12:46 pm

Blessings Everyone!
We had an amazing trip again by the power of God. The church was ready to take the streets with us and God was ready to pour His grace on us as we met people after people receptive to the message of the cross.

This trip was special because even the people from the local church were feeling God’s power on us and were asking us to pray for them. God was reviving his people while at the same time bringing life to others who din’t know Jesus as Lord and Savior.

We met a few Christians already who were very greatful that someone was out there sharing the gospel.

On Friday the Lord allowed us to help 23-25 people put their faith in the Lord Jesus while on Saturday we had more than 100 people put their faith in the Lord Jesus. I’m so excited about this number because we are not counting those who redicated thier lives to Christ. Everyone in the team was really tired but I told everyone that when we grow tired serving the Lord and sharing the gospel, we are tired for all the right reasons!

On Sunday morning Darlene Leffler got up really excited because while reading her Bible the Lord showed her the following phrase, “Be ready for the third day” Exodus 19. It is amazing because I knew God was up to somethng but that word that gave us such a booth of faith to expect God to do mighty things. We went to church and the Holy Spirit was all over that place. Before I even started preaching people were telling me already how they felt the Holy Spirit moving amongst the church. After I finished preaching on Luke 7:36-50 I asked people if they wanted to come forward to ask Jesus for a renewal of their love for Him. I had already told my team that I wanted them to be ready to pray for people when they came to the altar. People came to the altar like they knew they were going to be blessed and boy did they get blesse! God began to give word to almost every person who came to that altar and also performing some miracles as well! The team of evangelist from New Song were used of God to bless the 5 year old church plant! This trip was so powerful I still feeling the effects of it in my desire to seek Him more than I ever sought him before!!!

God was all over us the first day, the second day and the third day!!! if we would have stayed four days, get what would have happened?
Everytime you go out in faith, God has laready poured His grace for you to do what you were supposed to do!

Thanks for supporting our ministry with your prayers and financial support!

Please continue to pray that we get an SUV and an 5-6 passenger Pick Up Truck. We have some many mission trips and outreaches coming up this year, we would like to have our own and not borrow too much from the wonderful people who lets us take their cars accros the border. Thank you!

Some days just feel better than others!

March 13, 2011 – 5:50 am

Wow, At least 70 adults and 40 children made decisions of faith in Christ Jesus today. We almost have run out of resources. We had five teams of 4-5 people going with us therefore we are giving more stuff away. PTL! Church planter is talking about building a bigger church or buy an empty lot cause the current building is too small now. He was telling me yesterday that ever since we starting helping evangelize, he has notice the growth and thanks God for it. Wow, God is good! We are doing it again today! We will try to do it without the soccer balls and bracelets… the gospel still powerful though. Thannks for your prayers!

Evangelism update!

March 12, 2011 – 6:46 am

Really awesome day yesterday at sharing the gospel and seeing it at work! more than 30 people said yes to Christ. In my case, one man after finishing the sinner prayer said, “ah caray, si se siente bien no? then he added, “my heart is beating a lot faster.” in English, it means, “oh boy, this feels good” then he said, my heart is beating much faster… I said, is because Jesus just came in!
The team is doing so well, I’m seeing God do amazing things as we share the gospel and see hearts melt before the power of God.
PTL! thanks for your prayers. To Him be all the glory!
