For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son… Sunday in Mexico
February 2, 2009 – 10:49 amIts Monday morning now and I, like the rest of the team are feeling pretty tired. Last night it took me like two minutes to fall sleep. Marcia and I are in the habit of praying almost every night before we say good night to each other. Well, let’s say our prayer last night was pretty short! It went like this: ‘Thank you Lord for an awesome day’! And indeed it was an awesome day. We led 12 people to Christ and they were glorious salvations. We started early since we had to be at our community at about 8:30 a.m. and finish by 10:30 am which is when the service starts on Sunday morning.
We had an amazing worship time and the preaching was the best I have ever heard…I listened to the whole sermon (I preached).
After the service we went to one of the church’s family and had authentic Mexican Food… made in Mexico. We left Mexico at about 3:30 pm. right when the super bowl was getting started therefore listened on the radio almost to the whole thing while driving.
I must tell you something though, if you are praying about going with us: you will get tired, but when you lay your head on your pillow for those three days, you will sense the relief of having labored in the fields of the Lord. You would say, thank you Lord for having used me today to share your gospel with Juan, Maria, Miguel, Felix and Norma. That’s exactly what I felt like last night. Thank you for your prayers and support.
May the Lord bless you and fill you with His Holy Spirit.

Amen to that! We were tired when we got home last night, but it satisfying, knowing it was in service to Jesus!
